Na haar opleiding Kunstgeschiedenis had zij altijd de droom om een eigen galerie op te richten. Zij was lang werkzaam in een kunstgalerie in Utrecht en merkte al snel dat de drempel voor veel mensen te hoog is om een galerie binnen te stappen. Dat vond zij zonde. Simche wilde daarom een galerie oprichten die toegankelijk en laagdrempelig is. De combinatie met een bakkerij is daarom de perfecte formule! Terwijl jij je broodje of ander lekkers bij ons eet, zit je tussen fantastische kunstwerken van lokale kunstenaars.
